Sherwin-Williams Automotive Finishes Presents the Spray Your Way Design Contest – Powered by SATA!

Starting Monday, October 5th, 2020 you can vote for your favorite design to be featured on the 2021 Sherwin-Williams Special Edition SATA x5500 Spray Gun! Vote on your favorite.


For painters just starting out, this is an opportunity to build your business by getting your work recognized alongside some of the industry’s most celebrated painters, like Joe Martin and Travis Hess (Tuki), who rely on SATA every day to create works-of-art. And, for established painters, even the most well-known, this is an opportunity the take home the Grand Prize, which not only includes a custom spray gun featuring your work, but product from the House of Kolor® Shimrin2®--a system designed by Jon Kosmoski (Koz) himself to mix and name your own custom colors or even an entire palette, and become a legend.

It doesn’t matter who you are, or where you are in your career as a painter—refinish or custom. Anyone can win.

Are you ready to become a legend?

Here’s how to enter:

  • Fill out and submit the form
  • You will receive an email with a link to the Spray Your Way Design site (do not delete this email)
  • Simply open the Spray Your Way CDG custom design website created by SATA to begin the design process and when complete, click submit

On October 5, 2020, we will share the top three designs on Instagram @swrefinish. Followers will be asked to vote for their favorite design—this artist will ultimately win the Grand Prize: his or her custom design on this year’s Sherwin-Williams® SATA x5500 Special Edition Spray Gun, an Adam 2 Digital Micrometer, Sherwin-Williams® Pro Signature spray suit, and House of Kolor® Products ($3600 value).

The two Runners-up will receive also receive the x5500 SATA spray gun featuring their design ($925 value) and a selection of House of Kolor® paint and products ($750 value).
